Privacy Policy

ReddyMaid (“ReddyMaid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software that helps residential cleaning businesses manage scheduling, clients, invoicing, payments, payroll, and related operations (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information — your name, email address, phone number, business name, and password/authentication details when you create an account.
Business data you enter — records you add to run your business, such as your clients, properties, appointments, invoices, expenses, staff, and messages.
Payment information — subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data under its own security standards.
QuickBooks Online data — if you connect QuickBooks, we access and write accounting data on your behalf (see the dedicated section below).
Usage and device data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process subscription payments and manage your account.
To send transactional messages (e.g., sign-in codes, invoices, receipts, and service notices).
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data or QuickBooks data for advertising.

QuickBooks Online integration

When you choose to connect your QuickBooks Online account, you authorize ReddyMaid to access your QuickBooks company through Intuit’s official API. We use this access only to keep your accounting in sync — specifically to create and update your customers, invoices, payments, refunds, and expenses in QuickBooks from the records you manage in ReddyMaid. This is a one-way sync from ReddyMaid to your QuickBooks company.

We store the connection tokens Intuit issues in encrypted form (AES-256) and use them solely to perform the sync you enabled. We do not sell or share your Intuit data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than providing this feature. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from your ReddyMaid settings, which revokes our access; you may also revoke access from within your Intuit account.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed to provide it. These include:

Vercel — application hosting.
Supabase — database and authentication.
Stripe — subscription and payment processing.
Intuit / QuickBooks Online — accounting sync you enable.
Email and messaging providers — delivering transactional email and notifications.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Text messaging (SMS)

ReddyMaid can send text messages, and there are two separate relationships to be clear about:

ReddyMaid to you (the cleaning business) — if you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your account, such as sign-in codes, billing notices, and service alerts.
Your business to your own clients and staff — when you use ReddyMaid to send appointment reminders, confirmations, or other messages, those messages are yours. You decide who receives them and what they say; we deliver them on your behalf. The relationship with your clients is yours, not ours, and you are responsible for having their consent to text them.

Message frequency varies — it depends on your account and appointment activity (for example, how many jobs are booked, rescheduled, or completed). Message and data rates may apply.

To stop messages, reply STOP to any text and that number will stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at reddymaidservices@gmail.com with any question about messaging. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your use of messaging is also covered by our Terms of Service.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS consent

Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent collected through ReddyMaid are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This applies both to the numbers of our own customers and to the numbers of the clients and staff those customers manage inside ReddyMaid.

The only place a mobile number goes is to the messaging providers we use to deliver the message you asked us to send (for example, our SMS carrier partner), and only for that delivery. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use the number for their own purposes. We do not share text-messaging opt-in data or consent records with anyone else, for any purpose, except where the law requires it.

Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, tenant isolation so each business can only access its own data, and additional encryption for especially sensitive fields (such as property access codes and integration tokens). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any issues.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can export your data or request deletion of your account by contacting us at reddymaidservices@gmail.com. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at reddymaidservices@gmail.com. You can also update most account information directly in the app and disconnect integrations at any time.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

ReddyMaid is operated by its founders, and our service providers may process data in the United States, Canada, and other regions. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
